Cancellations

Native Rent User Guide 1.2 (2026-10-23). Supersedes the published guide.

• A line can be Cancelled only before checkout. Validation rule Block_Cancel_After_Checkout blocks Cancelled when the line was Checked Out or Completed.
• Cancelled lines do not count in the rental Total.
• Cancelled lines never block availability.
• Live cascade flow (v3): when the rental status changes, lines follow it, except Completed or Cancelled lines are skipped.
• Cancelling does not return add-on stock.

Partial cancel with a negative Tax line is Draft. See chapter 16.
